Prompted by Barack Obama‘s first visit to Laos, which was also the first visit by a US President ever, I decided to revisit my travel wishlists and put together five places in Asia – the continent that I am living in – that I would really love to go, sooner rather than later.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Letters
It is so interesting to be asked to display photo(s) of letters because I take pictures of words and sentences all the time, but not just letters. To be reminded that letters are not only functional but also beautiful is very thought-provoking.

All photographs were taken in Tanjung Puting National Park, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. I went on a three-day boat trip to experience a little bit of rainforest and to see some orangutans. It was one of the biggest eye-opening trips I have ever been.
